Reconstructing the Human Past conference
Just finished the #EESHuman conference at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany – the state of the art in ancient genomics with many great speaker. Martin presented a poster with flashtalk on introgression detection methods, Harvi presented a poster on gorilla demography and admixture.

We were very happy to welcome Aida Andres at our department! She gave a HEAS lecture on human cold adaptation. Aida and our group (Xin & Martin) also contributed to the training school on Neanderthal genomics organized by iNEAL (Ron Pinhasi & Daniel Fernandes).
